Compared to the opposite it's pretty quiet and doesn't "jump" or move while stitching. I sold mine from Wal-Mart and it came with a DVD on how to arrange the machine, straight sew, how to zig-zag stitch, sew a howeverton and install a zipper. It's has 14 completely different stitches so it can be not best an ideal computer to examine on but can be utilized once you learn how one can sew neatly.
